Best Nurse Award
One of the highlights of the year came recently when Christopher attended the Best magazine and Wellchild award ceremony at the Lords cricket ground in London. A nurse from Alder Hey Hospital, who was nominated by Christopher, received the Nurse of the Year award and Christopher was on hand to see her presented with her award by Chris Hollins (BBC Sports Presenter). Christopher met Prince Harry at the awards ceremony as well as a number of celebrities including Westlife, Rod Stewart and Children’s TV presenters Dick and Dom.
Caroline Sanders has been Christopher's Urology nurse at Alder hey since he was a baby. She truely deserves the award and recognition for the wonderful support she has given us and many other families.
