Christopher’s New Bedroom
The year started with the final few fundraising events for Christopher’s down stairs extension. The extension was completed in March 2007and decorated in his favourite Thomas the tank engine colours ready for him to move in. The extension houses a large bedroom, with a wonderful adjustable bed kindly donated by Howarths beds, a bathroom with walk in shower and a hallway, which leads outside to a ramp down to the garden. Further work has been completed to the garden to ensure everything is accessible to Christopher, and to the driveway to allow wheelchair access to the car.
Christopher loves his new room and it has given him the independence to access all of his own things as and when he needs them. The room will hopefully not only meet his needs now but also well into the future.
